YEW is a network of exemplary changemakers who have contributed to their societies through their leadership skills and civic activism. Projects at grassroots levels vary from leadership sessions, women empowerment workshops and medical camps in their communities.

Women Leading the World" project by Yew Ambassador, Tea Kostreni, from Albania!

Tea organized a 4 day women empowerment program for young girls in her local community by engaging them in interactive discussions and activities that helped brain storm and create confidence in young girls! Tea and her team also did a dance number that was dedicated to girls rights.

"Iftaar for the needies" project

YEW Palestine Chapter, Adam Tallouzi

"Collections for poor families" project. Adam was part of this project with the support from the General Governor of Tulkarm and were able to support a huge number of people through their food ration collection in the month of Ramadan to provide ration to people so they can fast.

Adam had a meeting with the Governor stating YEW's mission and he was impressed and appreciated Adam for his actions. The General Governor supported this initiative. After the project, I had a meeting with the Governor about YEW and its mission and also for opening a chapter.

YEW Ghana Chapter, Dr. Samuel Mensah

"Eye Screening" project conducted for inhabitants of Ahomaso- Ejisu Juabeng Municipality, by YEW Ambassador, Dr. Samuel Hodor Mensah from Ghana!

Dr Samuel led this project with his team members namely, Dr. Cyril Amankwaah, Mr.Boniface Atimbay and Mrs. Cynthia Siaw.

Dr.Samuel and his team conducted this project to provide free eye examination and create awareness of the disease through comprehensive eye screening in various segments of the municipality. They had 93 cases in total.

YEW Ambassador from Argentina is tutoring children voluntarily in the summers to improve their learning skills

YEW Chapter Mauritania, Amintoue Bilal

" Iftaar Project" Amintoue held an Iftaar in slum area of Ksar in Nouakchott during Ramadan. Amintoue was supported by “La Marmite du partage”

YEW Chapter Uganda, Lillian Nanteza

Lilian provides these kids and their mothers, necessary supplies such as baby diapers, nappies, breastfeeding bottles, soap and educational materials such as books and pens. Buwaali village about 30 KM from Kampala the capital city.

About 30 people both mothers and children arrived at Hope Nursery and Primary School in Buwaali village

"Community Clean up" Project. Community members helped cleaned the community from 9 am to 1 pm.
